BISC - BrickIt Sky Cam

Description

The BrickIt Sky Cam (BISC) is an upgrade of the BIC5 and is another remote-controlled LEGO® MINDSTORMS® blimp, which uses helium to become almost weightless. This results in the ability to fly using the LEGO propellers and motors. The blimp is controlled using a LEGO joystick (a design inspired by Philippe Hurbains NXT joystick). The blimp communicates with the joystick using the built-in Bluetooth connection. New features of the BISC includes pan/tilt smartphone mount, live video feed from the smartphone, sideways flying and a co-pilot system, that enables visitors to control the blimp from a second joystick.
