The exhibition is a simple model of a cargo terminal, where we have taken some important elements and built it all with LEGO® bricks, apart from the base. The exhibition has a platform to represent a warehouse. The warehouse is divided into two departments separated by a pallet rack. One half is the goods receipt and the other half is the loading area. To transport the pallets from the receiving department to the loading department an automatic pallet conveyor belt has been built. In each department there's a forklift, which is controlled by using the two LEGO joysticks. A road encircles the platform, where two automated trucks follows the road using the line of tape on the base. To make the trucks depart, there is a button on the side of the cab which has to be pressed. This button can be activated by collision with the forklift. When this button is activated, the truck drives into the other dock. The trucks are communicating together internally, so if a destination is occupied, it waits until it's available.
The exhibition was presented at LEGOWorld in Denmark 2010 and LEGOWorld in the Netherlands 2010.
